Folklore ensemble „ Rozmarija“ working at ABC – Center of free time. At the present time has 170 members in age from 5 to 65 years old, thanks 8 professional leaders like 8 artistic-pedagogical workers. Keeping and presentating dance, music and folk of east Slovakia region of Šariš, Zemplin, Abov and Zamagurie in original autentic costumes, which has the ensemble in the present time 9 kind. Program is in temperament humour-theatre form with some certain extent of stylization with young original cymbal folk music.
During the existention prepared 7 first nights and represened not just Prešov, but all Slovakia on 38 world festivals which were organized under patronage C.I.O.F.F. and I.O.V. UNESCO in 16 states of Europe / in Sweden, Germany, Poland, Italian, Hungarian, Czech, Rumania, Bulgaria, Greece, Lithuania, Portugal, Turkey, Spain, Russia, Belarus and Belgium / on high level.
The important part of Slovak festival was taking a part in first world festival CIOFF in Bratislava and in „Východná“. In 2004 children folk ensemble Rozmarija published its first children music CD and MC porter named „Rozmarija – How nice is growing“. In 2006 folk ensemble Rozmarija published second CD with songs from region of east Slovakia.

Description of the programe The lively and humorous dance performances from Šaris, Zemplin and Abov  region, East Slovakia. The performances an joyful made for theatrical shows in the Saris dialect. The shows are also full of village traditions.

1. „ČARDÁŠ” FROM ŠARIŠ REGIÓN

2. DANCE VITH BROOMS

Humor and dance couple polk play danced on party of region Zemplín from east Slovakia. One girl dancer is dancing with broom until she picked partner. Popular play for young people for dangesies wich can be danced just after midnight.

3. „Who is whos” - „ Kto z keho”

Temperament dance from region Zemplín with humour from east Slovakia. Zemplin´s „karička” girls, men´s  „čapáše” with  tease  between boys and girls, witch are life until today, just  have diferent shape.

4. „ ABOV „

Rytmik dance from region Abov. Dance Hungeryan minority living in south Slovakia.

5. „ GORAL „

Lyrik Dance from region Zamagurie from north east Slovakia near Poland frontier caching fragile relationship between men and woman.

6. „ BOTTLE DANCE “

Dance skill, of region Zemplin from east Slovakia, wich was danced on weding day and show reguery and skill boy´s dangers and girl´s dancers with bottle after midnight for amusement feasters

7. „ WASHER. WOMEN ” - / PRÁĆKY /

Humor - lyrik zone old method wish girls, with love toward boys, wich is carrying over on shirts, wich  are washing on brook. Specimen  method washing is of Šariš region from east Slovakia.

8. „ GOSSIPS „ -/ KLEBETNICE /

Humor girls dance of  Šariš region from east Slovakia, wich through specimen girl´s „ karičky „  circular dance  and „ točky” girl´s are rolling, is sneering women gossip and libel wich is until today.

Final thanks and parting dance of Zemplín region from east Slovakia with lyrik song given to the group „ Rozmarija „, and beautiful blooming bush Rozmarija too, by  wich has the group name.  Specimen of  Zemplín dance and his attractive and stamp rhythms.

10. „ANNUAL FAIR WOMEN” -  / JURMAĆANKY/

The lively girls´ dances and songs from vilage Hermanovce of region Šariš eastern Slovakia. . The story  takes place on market  place.The humorous rhytmic show is about how girls make fun at an annual fair with the article sold there ( with boots, spurs, hats, kitchen utensils and besoms which represent boys). It is a example of the eastern Slovak karičkas, twisting and galumphs.

11. „ĎURI OF THE CHURCH”

It is a dance of region Zemplín from east Slovakia  in which there is, with a sens of humor shown the negative aspects of consuming alcohol. It is showing human how they are funny under its influence and simultaneously it is discreetly showing a way how to fight it, in the shape of dance. The choreography is build on women karičkas ( sort of twisting, typical for group of women that are making one big circle) and solo twisting and mens rhythmical čardašis ( it is rhythmical hitting on thighs ), in the form of some funny fight between men and women.

12. „MEN DANCE”

Men čapašis of region Zemplín from the eastern Slovakia. Choreography without musing extremely rhythmical, beautiful and complicated games with tail skids. The choreography is build on voices and hitting of body and is showing on the man pride and beauty.

13. „FOLKLOREPOP - MIX -21″

Dance experiment trying to show the folklore in the 21-st century and its place and form of crossing with the modern pop music. The choreography is showing its irreplaceable and attraction even in moder times. The beauty and originality of the cultural elements of folklore art finally gets over the global monotone global music and mixes its irreplaceable originality into it. ” Only the evil knows, why we are trying to remove the originality of the ethnical groups from the surface of the Earth.”

They depict various relationships among children or psychological features of the people from Saies region.

1. Annual fair Women / region –West Saris – Village Hermanovce/ The lively girls´ dances and songs from Hermanovce. The humorous rhytmic show is about how girls make fun at an annual fair with the article sold there ( with boots, spurs, hats, kitchen utensils and besoms which represent boys). Number of dancers: 13 girls

2. Raslavice fun / region Saris – village Raslavice / The lively joyous dance from Raslavice. I tis parody for the traditional rustic dance party for adults with the humorous description of bad and also good customs at funs. Traditional kinds of dances from Raslavice (ceperka, polka, girls´ circle, boys´dances ) with charakteristic chapping are full of humorous dialogues betwen boys and girls in original Saris dialekt. Number of dancers:4-10 couples + 3-8 girls

3. Saris polka / region Saris – village Raslavice / The traditional polka from Raslavice. The dance is moderately worded, very lively- typical For East Slovakia. Number of dancers: 5-10 couples

4. We, brothers / region Saris / In the dance choreography through the boys´clapping there is shown how the younger brother tries to imitate his dance idol who is ejder brother.The dance also lays stress upon relationships among siblivgs. Number of dancers: 2 boys

5. At a smith / At the forge / / region Upper Saris – village Lipany / The rhytmic and funny traditional performance from Lipany is about bow children theough the play at a smith´s show the smith waster used to teach his apprentices. The dance alsov shows what everything happened at the smith´s forge titl graduation ceremony of the members of the villagers and gypses. The performance consists of the unique preserved gild couple dance „Grosi gros„ Number of dancers: 4-8 couples 6+ 1-6 girls + 1 gypsy girl
